JAMES BRIAN
James Brian Ahearn, 67 of Hurricane WV, passed away Thursday February 7, 2008 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg WV, after a short battle with cancer. Born on August 6, 1940 Jim was the son of the late James P. and Martha C. (Snow) Ahearn. He is also preceded in death by his brother Barry Ahearn. Jim was a retired Branch Manager with Chrysler Financial, member of the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Hurricane, served his country with the United States Army, in the 1st Calvary Division during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his loving children; James J. Ahearn of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Todd Ahearn of Dayton, Ohio and Michelle Crites of Grafton, WV; and his sister Susie Strobel of Pittsburgh, PA. Jim is also survived by two grandchildren, Tyler Matthew Crites and Kaitlyn Paige Ahearn and a host of other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held at 10:00 am Monday February 11, 2008 at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, 905 Hickory Mill Road, Hurricane, WV with celebrant Father Neil Buchlein officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane. Friends may call from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Sunday February 10, 2008 at CHAPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Blvd, Suites 6 & 7 Charleston, WV 25309 in Jim's honor.

To our cousins James, Todd, Michelle, Tyler Matthew, Paige, and Aunt Suzie, and other family members - we offer our deepest condolences. Often times we don't get to see our relatives with whom we share a great family history with, but that does not lessen the memories that we have or the love that we feel for one another. In this very hard time, our prayer is that you find comfort in that Buzzy, the great person that he was, is with our Lord, his Mom and Dad, Barry and all family and freinds that preceded him.
