Liz & Gord:
Linda and I were very sad to hear about your tragic loss and wish to extend our sympathy to you and your family. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the service for James as we are also mourning the loss of a loved one. This note is to let you know we share in your grief and that you are continually in our thoughts and prayers.

It's never easy for those who are left behind but please know we share your sorrow and we are with you at this difficult time.
May beautiful memories give you strength.

Gordie, Liz and family,
I'm not sure if you remember us but we lived in Slave Lake while you were up there. Doug's parents, Grant and Vi Baird, told us of your devastating news and we just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts. After seeing your sons/brothers picture it made us smile despite the tears as he seems like such a fine young man so full of life and ready to take on the world! We share your pain as we lost our son Drew, July 28th, 2006 in a motor vehicle accident. He would have been 26 years this October and he too had a zest for life that was unmeasurable. We are so sorry you are having to endure such pain but we hope the memories you have of your son and brother James will give you the strength to carry on!
Thinking of you all!

Please accept my deepest sympathies about your sudden and tragic loss of James.
I had the pleasure and privilege of working with James in the Insurance program at Mount Royal College. He will be remembered as a student always eager to learn, help his classmates, and offer lively participation in class discussion.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends and colleagues in the Mount Royal College and insurance communities.

I was very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your dear son, James. The young joyful picture of your son in the journal caught my eye. My husband and I lost our 2 year old daughter suddenly in October 2006. We know the despair and anguish that parents feel following such a tragic event. There are no answers to the endless questions, but we hope you can eventually find some measure of peace. We are still standing and looking for meaning in this life. We hope you find the support you need and we will think of you in the months ahead.

I'm so sorry to James family! Traci & I have our house boating trip this weekend and will miss the funeral but are thinking of you and your family. James was one of the top 10 people I have ever known. Always a smile - a laugh. One of the most outgoing, postive people in the world. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by so many. The world is a lesser place without him. Top Jimmy you will always be the King! God Bless...
