James Davis
James Davis, "Wolf Man Jim," 89 of American Fork, passed away peacefully at his home of natural causes. He was born in Grantsville, UT on June 25, 1916 to Thomas P. and Allie Russell Davis. He married Marion Eva Larsen, later divorced.
He was a groceryman and operated Davis Market in Lehi for several years. He raised, trapped, and trained animals for movies and films. He worked at the Small Arms Plant and also worked in Guam during the war. He was active in Mountain Men activities.
Survived by one son and three daughters, George (Carla) Edward Davis Larsen, Oregon, Morna Allien Davis Larsen, and Karen Francis Larsen, both of American Fork, Eva Louise Larsen, Orem; step-children Allen McDuffy, Orem, Joanne (Travis) Sutton, Oklahoma, Charles (Brenda) McDuffy, Avondale, AZ; 3 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Albert Davis, Salem, Don L. (Joyce) Davis, Las Vegas, Phyllis A. Nolen and Kathyleen Shaw, both of Kaysville, Ethel (Fred) Malone, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother, Joseph, Ellen and Florance.
Funeral Monday, June 26, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8:00 pm and one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
