Rest in Peace Jim, you will be missed dearly. You were a very kind caring and protective man. God bless your family and guide them through this time. I remember when I first met you at Reflections. You came knocking on my door one night to tell me that I should cut a hole in my Santa door covering so that I would be able to use the peep hole. I was looking at you like who is this cray man with a cigar? You then told me you were a friend of my dad's. You were awesome Jim. Rest in Peace.

My deepest condolences to Diane, James, Jerry and all of Jimmy's family. To me, he was like an Uncle. I always enjoyed seeing him and loved hearing his stories. Jimmy knew everyone and everything , he was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge when it came to Paterson or knowing info about your family. He knew more about my family than I did. He always made me smile, taught me some great lessons when I was just a kid hunting with the old guys in NY state. I think I even picked up a couple of great curse words from him. He always cleaned the deer and was very fond of those hunting trips. I will always cherish my memories of those hunting trips with my father and the guys. He was a best friend to my father and it's easy to see why. He was a man's man, he was loyal, tough, he had integrity, he was honest, very hard working, fun to be with and loved those around him. Jimmy, you will be missed. With love, Jeff Del Vecchio

Thank you Jim for providing a yard for us to play. A pool for us to swim. A car for us to drive. A home for us to come together and a strong look and a gentle heart when we were wayward teens looking for a place to belong. God Bless you Jim. Well Done! R.I.P.
