It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Combrink (Jan Hendrik Combrink ) at North Shore Hospice, North Vancouver. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother and friend. Henry will always be loved and remembered by his wife Sandra Combrink; children Ann, Lynn, Alan and John, grandchildren Christy, Miles, Carson and Jeff; great-grandchildren Jack and Marshall; and his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends, all over the world. You will be forever in our hearts and we will never forget your love for your family and your passion for life, sports and music. "...may your new journey be as wonderful as the last one!" We know that you are up and running, nothing slowed you down. As you said, "If you are standing still, you are not moving forward." Honoured and privileged to have been part of your life, Iron man. So much love and beautiful memories, even from these last darkest days, that we held your hand...... 'til one day, when you hold ours. Rest in Peace. The family of Henry Combrink will be holding a Celebration of Life Service in honour of his passing, and the 78 memorable years of his life, on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Lynn Valley Community Recreation Centre, CARDINAL HALL, 3590 Mountain Highway, Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, his family would be greatly appreciate, and accept, any donations to the North Shore Hospice in his name.
