JASON S. DEVORAK
AGE: 35 FORMERLY OF PORT READING
Jason S. Devorak, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at his home in Phoenix, Ariz. He was 35. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Carteret and Port Reading before moving to Phoenix just over a year ago. Jason was employed as a foreman with Greenwood Contracting in Phoenix for the past year; and had previously been employed with LDS Landscaping in Plainfield. He attended Carteret High School and was a 1994 graduate of Perth Amboy High School; and enjoyed snowboarding and rock climbing.
Jason was predeceased by his father, William J. Devorak, in 2006. Surviving are his mother, Anita Peto Devorak of Port Reading; a brother, William J. Devorak and his wife Erika of Port Reading; his niece and godchild, Ava-Adora Devorak; an uncle, Thomas Peto; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30 at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green St., Woodbridge. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
