Jason Taylor Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2021.
Jason was born in Bellflower, California on November 13, 1970. He was welcomed into Eternal Life on his passing on July 25, 2021. Jason was a beloved son of Les and Tari Taylor. He was also a brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson of a large and loving family. Jason's life was devoted to his faith, family, and friends. He loved helping people and his needs were simple. He was a kind, loving and compassionate soul who would give without question. He found great joy and happiness in helping those less fortunate. He loved volunteering wherever help was needed and was baptized at the Crossing Church in 2018 where he recommitted his life to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jason faced many challenges throughout his life but met them with a heart filled with hope and faith. Just as Jesus was a fisher of men, Jason was a lifelong fisherman. He found great joy and peace of mind when on the ocean with family and friends and a fishing pole in his hand. He loved fishing in Alaska with his dad, Uncle Dick, and Uncle Billy, and in Oregon with Mr. Scott. Spending time on a long-range fishing boat for several days was his dream come true. Being at the Colorado River house with Billy and Aunt Robin while sleeping under the stars was a favorite family get-together. Jason's favorite fishing spot was in the channel on the way to Catalina on the ADJ boat; where time seemed to stop and gave him time to count his blessings. Jason is survived by his mother, Tari, two younger brothers Dylan and Aaron, his two nephews Sage, and Caleb, and his grandpa, Kenneth Entenza, who loved dearly for who he was. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins whose lives were filled with laughter when together. Jason follows his father Les, Uncle Kenny, Uncle Danny, Auntie Robin, and his beloved Grandma, Margie into Eternal Life. We know he was welcomed Home with open arms by God and all who loved him. We humbly thank God for allowing him to spend time with us here on Earth, with the knowledge that when we are called home to Heaven he will be there to welcome us with a smile and love in his heart, a twinkle in his eye, and his fishing pole in hand. He will be missed We love you dearly Forever and always May God bless you and keep you in His Heart. There will be a private Service at sea for the family only.
