Jeff was born December 8, 1956 in Bettsville, OH, son of Robert E. & Colleen A. (Stover) West of Bettsville, OH.
Beloved husband for 26 years of Linda Watson West, whom he married on August 8, 1982. Loving father of Melissa (recently married to James Gall) of Gibsonia & Stephanie West of Orlando, FL. Dear brother of Deborah (Randy) Trumbo of Davison, MI & Terrie (Robert) Johnston of Tiffin, OH. Son-in-law of Josephine V. Brisbon of Gibsonia.
Jeffrey was a 1975 graduate of Bettsville High School. In addition, he was a graduate of Terra Community College in OH & Lesley College in MA. He worked for Harris Semi-Conductor in Finley, OH, Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard, MA, Quantum Corp. in Shrewsbury, MA & most recently, he was the Director of Operations for Seagate Technology, Pittsburgh, PA.
Jeff enjoyed golf, NASCAR, fishing, travel and his family. He was a wonderful example of a decent person, an attentive husband, a loving father, a devoted son, and an exceptional friend.
The West family invites friends to celebrate his life on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Engle- Shook Funeral Home, 301 Union Street, Bettsville, OH. Services will be held at the Engle -Shook Funeral Home in Bettsville, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Clausen officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort, OH.
