Jimmy was born in San Angelo, Texas on June 6, 1934. He graduated from San Angelo High School and
continued on to receive a Petroleum Engineering degree from Texas Tech University. Jimmy was
married to Marsha Bailey on April 4, 1958 in Midland, Texas. They were married 57 years.
Jimmy worked as a Petroleum Engineer with EXXON for 35 years traveling extensively around the nation.
After retiring from EXXON he started his own company JMW Petroleum. He enjoyed golf, hunting,
fishing, and traveling. He was a member of the Partners Class at First Methodist Church.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Marguerite and Finis White of San Angelo, Texas.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Marsha; his daughters, Stacy Stephens and husband Bill of Melbourne, Arkansas,
and Kimberly Wiggins of Midland, Texas; son, Dan Michael White and wife Christine of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, Johnny and Jackie White of San Angelo, Texas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. and Friday, January 2, 2015 from 8:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm. at Resthaven Memorial Park. A celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 2:00p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Midland, 911 W. Texas Midland, Texas

Marsha and precious family. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. We knew Jimmy as one of the kindest and most giving people we have ever known. We will treasure the memories.
