Sandy and I are extremely sad to hear of Joan's passing. She was a wonderful, wonderful individual. I remember many, many things -- including her elegant tea serving at the annual Ojai Tennis Tournament and her service on the board and as an officer of the Cal Alumni Club of Ventura County. Joan will be dearly missed. Norm, our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Joan was such an exceptional human being. Ken often worked quite closely with her during their time together at CLU. I appreciated her kind heart,... and her novels! She was definitely one of a kind. Norman, blessings and peace to you.
