It was always a pleasure to spend time with Joann. She was a gracious and genuine lady. When Young at Heart meets, we will feel her spirit with us.

My car feels so empty now when I go to Church or to a Young at Heart luncheon. We always rode together, so we could talk and talk and talk. Miss her so much.

Joann was my life line during a really bad time in my life. She lifted me up.. made sure I was up every day. If my curtains were not open she called or dragged me out of bed. She was an amazing friend and neighbor. We kept in touch every month since her moving to Florida from Wisconsin. Still not enough. I was always her little friend she was my dear friend. We always said I love you. She always said take good .. good care of yourself. Joann.. you touched so many lives.. you will be so missed. Hug Marsh for me. I promise .. I will take...good.. good care. Thank you for everything. Hugs to all your family.

We will miss Joann, Anne & I got married in their backyard 41 years ago in San Diego. Much fun over the years, visiting them while they lived in Texas, and dancing at the Texas Tumbleweed with our kids. Sending our love and hugs to the family.

A beautiful soul who now is with the love of her life. I will always cherish the memories I have of time spent with her, and she will live on in the memory of the many friends who loved her.
