JOHN J. JAY, Sr. CAPE CORAL, FL John J. Jay, Sr., 89, Cape Coral, FL, passed away at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral Wednesday, 5/8/2013. He was born in Bayonne, NJ, the son of the late Bernard and Agnes Jablonski. He was a retired police detective sergeant and devoted husband to the late Margaret Jay. They came to Cape Coral, FL in 1981 and enjoyed their retirement. He is survived by his son John (Evelyn) Jay, Jr. of Hunt Valley, MD and daughter Bernice (John) Basile of Bayonne, NJ, brother Bernard (Barbara) Jablonski of Bayonne. He has 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at St. Henry R.C. Church, Bayonne , NJ. Inter-ment will be at Holy Cross Ceme-tery, Arlington, NJ, at a later date. The family would like to thank the Hope Hospice of Cape Coral for outstanding care.
