Mr. Kachmar, was an amazing individual. He was like a father to me as well, through my brother and sister-in-law, after my father passed away so young. He was always the teacher, asking questions of the kids, especially math questions !!! He Loved spending time with the family and was always there to help. He was such a caring, kind and compassionate man. He will be deeply missed, but never forgot, by all!
Love,
Jim, Nicholas and Elizabeth Glassic

Uncle John graced the world with a countenance befitting an officer and a gentleman. His own self expression was the uncanny practice of listening to others. Never assaulting, his voice bore a melodic cadence that fused subtle wit and local diction into a sound uniquely "Northampton". My earliest memories include images of Aunt Mary and Uncle John walking hand-in-hand, sporting bobby socks & crew cut - as if taken from a black and white movie and inserted into any future moment. Inherently humble, he signed "Just Johnny" to each letter written to my mother during his naval service. He embodied a natural simplicity which manifested as ongoing devotion to his wife, his family, and his community. His light will perpetually shine in our hearts.

He was a great teacher and wonderful person. He is remembered fondly by many who had the privilege to be in one of his classes. He is the reason why I went on to get my accounting degree. May he rest in peace.

Dad,
Heaven is getting a saint! When I walk in your house, your chair is now empty--but I will always think of you greeting us in Ukrainian. The mold was definitely broken after you were born. I know no better husband, father, or grandfather. You will be greatly missed, but NEVER forgotten. Love you pop.

My father in law was a living saint in my eyes. I enjoyed playing cards, family get togethers. You truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Great memories of our trips to Clearwater and Tampa, remember the loud TV and the power outage at the hotels
Rest assure we will take care of Your bride, you will always be loved & remembered, as a great husband, father, grandfather, father in law and amazing human. Kindness like no other
Will miss you but never forget you

Dad, you are now at peace. It has been such a struggle for me watching you deteriorate the last two months. But, we never stopped fighting for you and what you deserved in your final days. I would do it again in a heartbeat. You were a wonderful father and grandfather to your grand kids. And husband—my mother was such a lucky lady to have you as her husband. I have never seen such unconditional love from a husband to a wife. You would have done anything for mom without questioning why. You would have given the shirt off your back to anyone who needed it. Heaven is getting an angel. You will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten. I love you pop.
