Jonathan Barrett Roberts, 20, of Freeburg, Ill., born Dec. 3, 1986, in Belleville, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Jonathan was a graduate of Freeburg High School in 2005, he was previously employed by his uncle at Apraho Village and Mobile Home Park, and currently he was employed by his cousin at A & E Concrete. He enjoyed his truck, four wheelers, hunting, camping, sports, being with friends and family, and loved his dogs, Kopper and Butch.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda, nee Geringer, Roberts; and a very special aunt and uncle, Reuben "Jitter" and Jeanette Walden.
Surviving are his parents, Dennis P. and Tammy L., nee Bunch, Roberts; paternal grandfather, Paul Roberts of Columbia, Ill.; maternal grandparents, John R. and Jeannie M., nee Reichling, Bunch of Belleville, Ill.; great grandparents, Robert and Anita Geringer; aunts and uncles, John (Connie) Bunch of Millstadt, Ill., Cheryl (Roger) Veile of Freeburg, Ill., Brad (Terri) Roberts of Millstadt, Ill., and Lisa (Mark) Hrdlicka of Columbia, Ill.; cousins, Jody (Chad) Caudle, Alison (Phil Richardson) Bunch, Tiffany Veile, Jeff (Stephanie) Reuss, Michael (Lindsey) Reuss, Derek Roberts, Randi Roberts, Timothy Roberts, Madison, Ashley, Abby, and Megan Hrdlicka; a girl friend, Casey Valentine; best buddy, Bubba; many other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. Larry Patton officiating. Upon the family's request cremation is to be held after the funeral service.
