February 6, 1936 - March 27, 2015
Joseph Lux passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Joseph fought a courageous battle with cancer out-living the doctors expectations. He was a hairdresser/ barber his whole life and he continued to work through his battle in his Barber Shop. Joseph's unique spirit and generous heart will be missed by so many. He lived a full life and left with no regrets. Joseph is survived by his son Jayson (Nicole); stepdaughters Kari (Licinio) and Suzanne (Tom); six step- grandchildren, Demi, Sydney, Madison, Luke, Karli, and Nolan of Calgary. Joseph was predeceased by his father Joseph; mother, Magdlena; and sister, Charlotte. A Celebration of Joseph's Life will be held at Back Alley Joe's in Nanton on Sunday, April 19, 2015 between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Joseph's family through www.evanjstrong.com. So sad, I will miss your laugh, your optimisme and.... of course your hair cuts. Enjoy your stay on the other side, enjoy the company of angels, enjoy long conversations with other souls without having to re-organize hair to cover bald spots.

I've had my tresses trimmed by jovial Joseph for well over three decades. He loved his jokes and puns! His good humor will be sorely missed. Indeed, with his passing, the humor of the world has taken a big hit.
