Sally, I'm so sorry for your loss. Joe was such a help to Wayne when they both worked at Detrick and I know he was just a great all-around guy. What a dreadful disease to endure, for both of you and for your boys.
Wishing you peace.

I want to extend my deepest condolences to Sally and to Sally and Joe's families. I got to know Joe when we both worked for SAIC. Working on a project with Joe always made it easier. I am thankful that our paths crossed. Sally. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sally, I was saddened to hear about Joe's passing. What a courageous man to go thru this disease. My heart goes out to you as caregiver and wife. You are one amazing woman who stood firmly by his side. May the Lord bless you and your sons during this time and give you comfort. I worked with Joe at Ft. Detrick for many years and he was a great guy. Blessings, Linda Brandenburg

Sally, Nick, and Mike,
We are so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Even though we have moved to Florida, our son keeps us posted on special friends we have had the honor and pleasure to know, from years ago. And that was all of you. For us, it was during the Walkersville HS days, when all of our kids were younger. Happy days. We carry you in our hearts, and pray, that, in time, pain will soon be replaced with comforting and warm feelings, and memories, as you continue on in life. Know that Joe will continue to be a constant, loving, and positive presence, in your lives. God bless you all. John and Anne Jeffas

Mrs. Miller,
So sorry to hear about your husband. I have a lot of memories of Joe from when you lived on Daysville Road. I always remember him with a saw/drill in hand or in the wood shop. Always had a smile on his face and when I would bump into him a few times at Ft. Detrick. Though it has been many years since we've caught up, keep you in my heart. Please give my Nick and Michael my best.
