Joyce Noe Elder

Joyce Noe Elder, 66, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Jackson Hospital. Joyce was born May 16, 1951 to the late Addie Lee Arnette and Carl William Noe.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Elder; her son, Richard Elder; and her parents; Carl William Noe and Addie Lee Arnette.

Joyce is survived by three daughters; Kathy Clark (Dennis), Crystal Toney (Daryl) and Jessica Elder, two sons; Ronald Elder and Gary Elder. Five brothers; Carl Noe Jr. (Linda), Haywood Noe (Glenda), Paul Noe (Patty), Johnny Glasscock (Cheryl) and David Glasscock (Linda). Four sisters; Frankie May Livingston (Douglas), Sandra Payne (Robert), Cindy Thompson (Timothy) and Linda Carroll (James). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; David Arnette, Timothy Elder, Jeffrey Elder, Molly Elder, Matthew Elder, Jasmine Elder, Juarun Moore and Raven Moore and two great-grandchildren; Leland Arnette and Adalyn Marshall.

Our family's beloved nana. She enjoyed spending time with the grandkids and great grandkids. Her purse collection was envy by many of her friends and family. She was the biggest Elvis fan and enjoyed seeing Graceland.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home located at 909 Lincoln Rd. with a public visitation one hour prior to service. Elvis gospel music will be played during the public visitation in her honor. Pastor Grady Arnette will be officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the chapel service in Greenwood Cemetery.
