Juanita Pate Obituary
Ms. Pate was born on September 16, 1946 in Hampton, GA. The daughter of Harvey Jackson Blessit and Eunice Rebecca Turner Blessitt. She was married to the late Robert Olin Pate and was a homemaker.
"Nita" as she was referred to by her family, enjoyed being in her yard planting flowers, crocheting, and was a racing fan. She loved all kinds of racing from dirt track, NASCAR, Big Rigs all the way to street cars. She could often be found on her computer or watching one of her favorite television shows, "The First 48." Above all she enjoyed loving and making memories with her beloved family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Olin Pate; siblings, Howard Blessitt, George Blessitt and Peggy Taylor; Delores Wheatley and a great granddaughter, Haven Rose Wilson.
She is survived by her children Denise Bass of Warm Springs, Lynn Smith of Senoia, Melba Nash of Griffin, and Shelby Anderson of Franklin, GA; siblings James Blessitt of Fayetteville, and Dianne Wheatley of Hampton; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The Pate family is being assisted by Cox Funeral Home 93 Prather Barnes Road Manchester, GA 31816. The family requests that you please sign the online registry and leave condolences of the tribute wall page.
