JUDY JACKSON Obituary
HARRISONBURG, VA?
Judy Hoover Jackson, 71, passed away at Rockingham Memorial Hospital August 5th, a resident of Avante Nursing Home of Harrisonburg, formerly of 1903 West Beverley Street, Staunton.
She was born March 21, 1942, a daughter of the late Howard and Viola Hoover. She was married to the late Keith ?Jay? Jackson.
She and her husband owned and operated ?Jays TV, Appliance Repair Shop? out of their home.
She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church of Staunton.
Family members include two sons, Mark Pitsenbarger and wife, Donna, of Grottoes, and Kenneth Pitsenbarger and wife, Debbie of Plano, TX; four grandchildren, Crystal Pitsenbarger of Staunton, Amber Pitsenbarger of Grottoes, Kevin and Matthew Pitsenbarger of Plano, TX; four brothers, David Hoover and wife, Karen, Billy Hoover and wife, Brenda, Danny Hoover and wife, Charlotte, and Charles Hoover; one sister, Betty Riggleman and husband, Howard.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hoover; a sister, Wanda Thomas; and a nephew, Aaron Riggleman, Sr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lester LaPrade. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be, Aaron Riggleman, Jr., Dave Gochenour, Jim Ardery, Rodney Hoover, Thomas Hoover, and Tripp Bennett.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the funeral home and other times at her sister?s residence, 3700 Rawley Pike, Harrisonburg.
