Karen was a dear friend in childhood, a neighbor, playmate, school and Sunday school friend. There are so many happy memories of days on the farm with our families and church picnics next to the pond. I am saddened by the news, but strengthened by the hope that Karen rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord. To all the family, I send much love and deepest sympathy.

I'm sorry to hear about Karen. My thoughts and prayers go to her family. I worked with Karen for many years. My humming got on her nerves but later years when we didn't work in the same area, she would call me every Christmas and asked if I was humming. I guess she missed it then. She will be missed.

Karen was a very special part of my work family and I have many fond memories of her. I'm so grateful that I was able to talk to her the Sunday before she passed, although there are so many things I would have said if I had only known it would be our last conversation. My heart goes out to her family and friends for this unexpected loss. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her dearly.

Karen, because of our age difference we weren't very close. In the last couple of months taking care of you, we shared the most intimate moments of our lives with each other. I may not have gotten to roll around in the bed laughing and giggling with you when I was a child, but I'm so glad I got to enjoy that with you before you passed. I love you dearly and will miss you deeply. Say Hi to Dad and the family. KJ
