1962-2014

Kenneth L. Beckham passed away on August 1, 2014. Kenny was born in Ankara, Turkey on August 18, 1962 to his parents Joe E. and Patricia A. Beckham. Kenny was a kind, caring, and compassionate person. As a child, Ken was active in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, little league, football, and bowling. He loved NASCAR, Dale Jr, his favorite driver, football especially the Miami Dolphins, and the South Carolina Gamecocks of the SEC. While a dependent of an Air Force member, he attended various schools at Eglin AFB, Shalimar, FL and South Dade in Miami. After moving to Pensacola in 1978, Ken attended Pine Forest High. He worked at various jobs until 1994 when he became a US Coast Guard Licensed Tankerman with the American Commercial Barge Lines until 2005.

Kenny was preceded in death by his uncles, Jerry Beckham and Grier Francis and his cousin, Scott "Scooter" Beckham.

Survivors include: his parents; brother, Richard A (Denise) Beckham of Navarre; aunts, Barbara Watkins and cousins of Charleston, SC and Faye Beckham of Lancaster, SC; and his daughter, Ashley Fulmer of Pensacola.

Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the funeral home.

Special thanks to West Florida Hospital, ER, ICU, and a special thanks to the CCU Unit, Michelle (Sandra), Christy and Angela (Angel) for their loving and compassionate care.

Kenneth was a lover of animals having several cats and dogs over his short life. Taz, Meow Meow, Punkin, Rudy, Bucky, Alicat, Munchy, Buster and Sport, were devoted to him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society and West Florida Wild Life Sanctuary.
