Mr. Layne was the sweetest man. I met him when he moved her to the Elms of Lynchburg. He was a delight and a joy to see each day. He will be dearly missed here at the Elms by everyone.

Kenneth was a great cousin. Loved seeing him when I would visit at his church and take our Uncle Bill Layne. Kenneth was a good nephew to Bill. I know you are with your Mother and Dad, and may you rest. Your cousin,

Kenneth was a gentleman. Although we were second cousins, I only got to know him when our mothers were in St. John's Nursing Home at the same time. He was very attentive to his mother but he also gave his time and attention to other residents at the home and for a number of years was a frequent volunteer there. He was faithful about attending family events and was always cheerful and upbeat. My condolences to Michael, Wayne and Brandon.
