Kevin W. Reynolds SAUGERTIES - Kevin W. Reynolds, 89, of Blue Hills Drive died suddenly Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Kingston Hospital. Born April 25, 1923 in Cranberry Lake he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired employee of IBM. Active in the community, Kevin joined the Saugerties Knights of Columbus Council #4536 on April 1, 1955. He was a Fourth Degree Member of Assemble #775 of the Kof C. He was a member of the Saugerties American Legion Post #72, the BPOE Lodge #550, the Glasco Fire Department, the Cranberry Lake Boat Club, the Copper Lake Hunting and Fishing Club, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Woodstock Vibrations Motorcycle Club and St. Joseph's RC Church in Glasco. Kevin formerly served on the Rondout Valley Central School Board for 17 years, and as its President for 7 years. He was an Eagle Scout and a former member of the St. Remy Fire Dept. At the end of this month Kevin was to be honored for his World War II Service by being flown, along with a group of other World War II Veterans on a trip to Washington, DC. Survivors include his Wife, Patricia. Two daughters: Karen Rowell and Dorothy Pyle. Two Stepdaughters, two stepsons and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. His Funeral Procession will form 9:15 a.m. Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. Joseph's RC Church where at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Family suggests donations in his memory be made to The Reuner Cancer Support House, 80 Mary's Ave. Kingston.
