Peacefully at Leamington Hospital on Friday, November 22, 2013. Age 74 years. Late of Kingsville. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Brown). Dear brother of Don (Bernice), Gil (Suzanne), Marlene and the late Jack, Jacquie (Carlo). Predeceased by his parents, Freeman and Laura Bastien and brothers, Garfield, Raymond and sisters, Norma and Shirley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Larry retired from the H. J. Heinz Company, Leamington in 1998. Resting at the
C. Stuart Sykes Funeral Home,
91 Division St. S. Kingsville
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24th. Funeral service from the funeral home on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow in Windsor, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Condolences may be left at

Larry..When I learned to fly in the early 60's at the Cottam Airport you volunteered to be one of my first passengers..I will always be thankful for this act of courage which helped launch a very rewarding career as an International Airline Pilot..RIP my friend..

Larry was a pillar in our family, always had a joke or a wisecrack. Was loved my everyone who knew him,& had many friends. We will all remember the many family reunions you & Sharon held in your back yard. You are in a pain free place now, dear brother. You will be sadly missed by Carlo & I as well as my family.
