Lawanda Street was born February 17, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio at Grant Medical Center. She was the daughter of Jessie and Teretha Street. She entered eternal rest with her Lord and Savior on Thursday October 6, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Teretha Street, a sister Louwida Bryant and a brother Marvin Street.

Lawanda is survived by her daughter Bre'Nada Street, a grandson Isaiah Street, and four siblings: Patricia (Trent Bradley) Anderson, Arthur R. Street, Coreta Underwood, and her twin Arshenda (Mattie) Street; all from Columbus, OH. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including Juliette Oberle and Jill Voiles.

Lawanda graduated from Brookhaven high school in 1989. She was baptized at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church. Lawanda enjoyed watching scary movies, going out to eat and getting her hair done. Lawanda was a hard worker who held many managerial positions including McDonalds, Lazarus and National City Bank. She retired from the State of Ohio after 20 plus years due to her illness.
