I am greatly saddened to hear about Leroy's death. He was truly a great friend to many of us during his time at Harvard. He was serious about the MBA, and extremely focused, yet when his work was done, he was ready for fun.He was kind, thoughtful, and very respectful of all people. His sense of humor was legend, and he was a good sport ready to try anything, as witnessed by his attempts to ice skate. It was determined by all that he had better stay with golf and tennis. May the memories of happy times together give you peace.

Ruth--My first job out of college was at the Westfield Companies and I had the great fortune of having Leroy as my "boss". He was a man of integrity, honesty and hard work. I learned much from him over almost a decade. He had a very subtle sense of humor, and great patience. He called me into his office one day , sat me down and said, " I have a very long fuse, but you have managed to use up most of it" It was the most angry I ever saw him and he was right. It DID get my attention.
He could be very focused. One day we were on the golf course during an agents day and he got into a deep conversation with an agent and they stopped in the middle of the fairway and must have talked for 15 minutes as the groups backed up behind us. I kept trying to figure out how to get them moving, but they must have solved the problem as we started moving again, as if nothing had happened. I'm sorry for your loss. I have great memories of him.

I was very sorry to hear of Lee's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Greenleaf, he was a true gentlemen and very kind hearted. Family was very important to him and he loved showing pictures from trips. I will miss him. Eileen J. Kosloski (Chesterland, OH)

To Ruth and Family:
Lee will be sorely missed at Tower. Lee was a mainstay of the Cleveland Harvard Business Investment Fund while he was at National City backing up our volunteer investment club style stock picking with sound professional insight and trading. When National City forced age related mandatory retirement, it took me two seconds to offer him a home at Greenleaf and bring him along when we morphed into Tower. He has been an important part of our research team. His knowledge was widespread and he rose to the challenge of our more entrpreneurial approach. He became expert at using the voice recognition software of Nuance, one of venture firms, as a substitute for dictating to our non-existent stenographers. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with him and you. We will be there to help you in any way we can.

To Ruth and Family:
I was very sorry to hear of Lee's passing. He was great gentlemen dedicated to you and his profession. My last conversation with him was about the wonderful Apollo's Fire concert that he attended. He will be missed greatly by all.
