Linda and I worked together at T.J. Maxx for over 25 years.
We had a running joke of whenever I would do something for her, she would say, "Put it on my tab."
When she left to start her own business, I gave her a card with a 'tab,' labeled, "Paid in Full."
She was an amazing woman, and I'd like to share an acronym of her name.
L.oyal
Linda was loyal to her family.
She deeply loved her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She would tell of funny childhood stories her
Children did, and was especially proud of them.
She was immensely fond of her granddaughter Mandy.
From the day Butch and Beth came into the store to tell Linda they were having a girl, to her last breathe, Linda loved Mandy, and ALL her children, grandchildren, sisters, husband, daughter in laws, brother in laws, nieces, and nephews with reckless abadon!
I nfectious Laugh
Linda and I had numerous times we would laugh so hard we cried!
Linda had the kind of laugh that was head-tilting, whole body shaking, and facially expressive that you couldn't help but laugh along with her.
N eat
Linda had a gift of presenting herself, home, and displays with an artform that was beautifully presented.
Her matching, and perfectly color coordinated clothing outfits, 'Royal Albert, "Old Country Roses," Chinawear, matching gold silverware, neat and crisply folded towels, and artistic displays are a few examples of her unique gift of putting the right things together.
D.iet Coke Lover
Linda would take the bus to work, and home; however, when she bought her groceries, she would always have her case of Diet Coke with her.
A.lways in my heart
Linda will forever be in my heart and mind of all the good times, and good food we had together.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family
And friends.
