LORRAINE P.
On Saturday, July 15, 2017, at age 81. Beloved wife of the late Eugene D. Levy; mother of Anna Lepsch (Robert) and Ella Davis (Donald); grandmother of Christopher and Cassandra Lepsch and Candace and Acacia Davis; sister of Marilyn Matta, Dolores Bedford, Dorothy Lindholm and Gary Paul; sister-in-law of Edward Levy; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC., 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and continuing in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 304 Morewood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, on Thursday from 9 a.m. until a service at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, rembrances may be made to Braddock Carnegie Library (braddockcarnegielibrary.org) or the Fiber Arts Guild of Pittsburgh (fiberartspgh.org).

So sorry to hear that Mrs. Levy passed away. I helped her with her garden. She was such a sweet soul. I will miss her.

Lorraine was a beautiful spirit-being following her path on this earth and spreading her light around others while she was here. I shall miss her and I shall always remember her gentle, compassionate ways and her very sensitive and lovely art at our Pittsburgh Group meetings which she so generously held each month at her home for all of us.

What a lovely woman. She and her granddaughter took a fabric dyeing class I taught many years ago. We would see each other periodically and she would share her other artistic adventures, or fill me in on her granddaughter's life. Her creative spirit will be missed.

I worked with Lorraine at the CMU Art
Store. She was a wonderful person inside and out. Lorraine will always hold a special place in my heart and I was truly blessed to call her my friend. Deepest Sympathy to her family.
