Harris, Lynn Ed
79, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away Tuesday evening April 20, 2010 at Scottsdale Healthcare. He was born March 2, 1931 in Lexington, TN to Ed Stanley and Eva Mae Harris (both deceased). He is survived by his loving wife Helen of 58 years and two sons, John (wife Jeanne) of Apache Junction and Jeff (wife Liza) of State Road, NC. He has two sisters Edith Schroeder of Phoenix and Joyce Rymer of Huron, TN and a brother Ed S. Harris of Cave Creek. He has two sisters-in-law Betty Brown of Fairfield, CA and Sarah Fardig of St. Helena, CA and a brother-in-law Hugh Nichols of Lead, SD. He also has four nephews Kenny Lytle of Phoenix, Gene and Harvey Rymer of TN and Scott Harris of Houston, TX. He has three nieces Donna Allen of Phoenix and Diana and Joy-Lynn of TX. Lynn served his country in the Air Force for 26 years. Upon retirement, he went into business for himself founding The Clock Doctor, where he bought, sold and repaired fine clocks. After selling the business he continued to repair clocks and enjoyed teaching others. He belonged to the National Association of Watches and Clocks and the Keywinders of AZ. He was known for a keen sense of humor and never knew a stranger and loved to help others. He loved his family and friends and especially loved the Lord. He was a member of the Camelback Church of Christ for 34 years. Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, April 25th at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd. in Scottsdale from 2-4 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, April 26th at Camelback Church of Christ, 5225 E. Camelback Rd. at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Copper Basin Bible Camp in Prescott or to the building fund of Camelback Church of Christ.
