HIGH POINT — Maria Sesenia Naniong Dove, "Sen" of High Point, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem.
She lived her life serving the Lord and taking care of others as a Registered Nurse at Friends Homes, Inc. in Greensboro. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring daughter and a dear sister. She was born in Manila, Philippines on May 11, 1968
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she was an active member, with the Reverend Vincent Smith, O.S.F.S celebrant. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Sesenia is survived by her husband, Dorman D. Dove, , two daughters, Carissa and Celeste, her father and mother, Florentino and Nancy Naniong, two sisters, Maria Araceli Naniong and Maria Flordeliz Siapno, two brothers, Hermie Naniong and Cesar Naniong, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Sesenia's name to the Building Fund at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic CHurch, 4145 Johnson Street, High Point, NC 27265. I worked with Sen for the past three years. She was such a sweet woman, she and I would make jokes with one another all day to past the time. I miss her dearly she was more than just a friend and a coworker. Sen was family!
