In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dearest Oli, Catia, Nadia, Marco, and to all the of Mario's little angels,
You have lost a very special and devoted husband, father and grandfather who's kindness, warmth, generosity of spirit and love can never be replaced but can always be kept in your hearts and memories to bring you comfort as you grieve, and to share with your children and grandchildren as they grow up. Mario was a special part of all of our lives, and was most certainly a constant presence in Enzo's. He feels the loss of his Uncle Mario deeply, as do we all. Truly wish we could be there with you through this, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, and that our tears flow with yours today as you lay him to rest in God's hands. He will be so very missed.
God Bless you and watch over all of you who he loved so very dearly.
With all our Love and heartfelt sympathy, Nicholas, Brianna, Enzo and Vicky

No words will express how I feel today. Let's hope that time will heal our sorrow. As the famous saying goes "Only the good die young" and it is so true in your case. You were a second father to me and Catia, Nadia and Marco were my siblings. I miss you already.
