Marjorie "Mudge" Falck

Marjorie "Mudge" (Foley) Falck, 88 of Manchester, loving wife for forty-three years of Paul M. Falck, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Manchester Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Marjorie was born on March 3, 1923 in Manchester to James and Maude (Hayes) Foley and was a lifelong Manchester resident. She graduated from Manchester High School and the former Hillyer College in Hartford, and retired from the Aetna Insurance Company in 1984 after forty two years of service. She was a parishioner of St. James Church and a former president of the Aetna Girls Club. With her husband Marjorie is survived by three loving step-sons, Brian Falck and his wife Cindi of Pennsylvania, David Falck and his wife Sally of Arizona, and John Falck of New York, several grandchildren and their spouses, her niece, Lynne Haberern, and her nephew, Philip Kenny, both of Manchester. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 11:00 AM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
