Mark W. Bloss of Fox Chapel. PA, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, after a long battle with Multiple System Atrophy. Always a man of integrity, he remained true to himself (and his sense of humor) through all of the challenges that MSA threw him.

Mark was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Helen and William Bloss and grew up in the West View neighborhood. After graduating from North Hills High School, he went on to obtain a B.S. in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. He had a successful career at Federated Investors, Inc., retiring after more than 30 years with the company.

Mark was a long time member of Longue Vue Club and a passionate lover of golf. He was fortunate enough to golf many of the most iconic courses in the world, and achieved his dream of a year-round golf season by spending his winters in Naples FL.

He will continue to be cherished and missed by Cindy, his wife of 42 years and their children: Katie Perrin (John), Jennifer Bloss, Gretchen Perry (Tom), William Bloss (Courtney) along with his many grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Bruce (Barbara) and family.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Defeat MSA Alliance.
