Marvin Silvers Obituary
Mr. Silvers was born August 9, 1945 in Bartow County, the son of the late, Clarence William and Molly Holmes Silvers, was a self employed painter and a member of Wade's Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mildred Dabbs, Ruth Morris and Betty Jo Wade and brothers, J.W., Bob, Frank and Jim Silvers.
Surviving is his wife, Cathy Silvers, son, Gabe Silvers, daughters, and sons in law, Cassie and Robert Foote, Stephanie and Bobby Mathis, a sister, Ola Mae Fritz.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Wade's Chapel with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 2:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Danny Silvers, Johnny Morris, Daryl Wade, James Andrews, Travis Sligh, Jeremy Sligh and Charles Fritz.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is In charge of the arrangements.
