Age 93 of Oakmont passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Harmar Village Care Center. Born in Harrisburg on December 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Josephine (Allen) Parham. A graduate of Seton Hill College, she resided in Oakmont with her husband, Leonard as owners and operators of the Leonard P. Burket Funeral Home, now Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation & Alternative Services, Inc. She will be remembered as nourishing family and friends with love, faith, and kindness. Beloved wife of the late Leonard P. Burket . She is survived by her daughters, Kathie (Bill) Gavrish and Ann Piccolino Gradnik; grandmother of Bill (Caron) Gavrish, Matthew (Melanie) Gavrish, Samantha Piccolino and Christopher Piccolino; great-grandmother of Madi, Makenna, Julia, and Maddox. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church since 1952 and she was involved in many local organizations. She enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends. Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 8, 2018, 10 a.m., St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont. Private Entombment will follow in the Homewood Cemetery with her beloved husband, Leonard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Anthony Chapel, 1704 Harpster St. Pittsburgh, PA 15212 for Memorial Plaque or "Lighting Campaign."
