Mary Petrashune Obituary
Born in Lyon Mountain, N.Y., on April 25, 1918, she was the daughter of Stanley and Sofia (Kwentican) Petrashune.
Ms. Petrashune was employed as a housekeeper at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain and also at St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. She was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church.
Ms. Petrashune is survived by: two sisters and a brother-in-law, Josephine and Henry Ryan of Dannemora, Frances Gould of Lyon Mountain; three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Janet Petrashune of Delaware, Thomas and Jeanette Petrashune of Saranac, Frank and Marie Petrashune of Dannemora; several nieces and nephews.    ÂÂ
She was predeceased by her parents; and four brothers, Stanley, John, Anthony and Michael Petrashune.
Calling hours will be held at St. Bernard's Convent on Wednesday, April 30, from 10 to 12 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 p.m. in St. Bernard's Church with Rev. Ted Crosby, officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Lyon Mountain.
Donations in her memory may be made to Lyon Mountain Fire Dept. or Masses.
