Matthew Sterling Wright, of Homewood, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018, at the age of 61. He grew up attending Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood. Matt graduated from Berry High School. While in Gulf Shores, Matt was a contract painter. After this he was employed as an over-the-road driver in the trucking industry.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jetta Wright. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Quinton Wilson (Matthew); his father, Loyd V. Wright; his brother, Michael Wright; and his former wife, Melanie.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Hwy 150 in Hoover.
