Shirley, Ryan, Carrie and Fred:

Mike lived life to its fullest and so loved family and friends. He taught us a lot in his short time on this earth. We know that we will be hearing those jokes again some day. May God Bless you with those wonderful memories and ease your pain as time passes.

Dear Fitzgerald Family - My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. I had the pleasure of getting to know Mike through work. We all know that Mike was a Fantastic person, because everytime you asked him how he was, he replied, "Shirley says I'm Fantastic!" When I get to heaven and find the walls of heaven painted green, I'll know that I've found a happy spot! Always a laugh, always a smile, always remembered. May you find peace and everlasting life in his memories.

Dear Shirley & family,

Mike was a joy to work with at St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation. He was the best Ambassador and Salesman for the Hospitals and all of its many great programs. It was inspirational to watch Mike 'sell' his passion for the Hospitals to others. He will be missed for his positive outlook, laughter, conversation and "Mike isms".

It was my great pleasure to know and work with Mike. When he committed to a cause as he did at St. Joseph's he was unstoppable. He exuded a spirit and an energy that made everyone want to join in. A larger than life man - so full of mischief, jokes and grins - packaged in a rather short Irish body. Our favorite Leprechaun! We will truly miss you and never forget you.

"Have you heard the one about..."

I only knew Mike a short time, and I don't know how many times I heard him say the above...I'll miss never hearing it again.

Mike's enhusiasm and love of live was unbounded. As was his love for the Notre Dame Irish.

There will always be ND memorabilia in each of my Sport Clips stores in remembrance of Mike.

I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know him. I'm saddened that he won't be here to witness Sport Clips make its mark in Tampa Bay, but his memory will inspire us today, tomorrow and forever.
