Mildred Servello 7/19/1927-6/25/2020... (born to Richard and Marcella Caretti) lived on Friday St in Melville PA. She worked at Penn State for a year after her High school graduation as an assistant secretary to an English professor. Then one day at 18 she went to Armonk to be in her cousins wedding. Well as my dad happen to be best man to his long time friend. He saw her and it was love at first sight. The best was that weekend they went to playland with different dates, tunnel of love. My dad and mom went in with a date yet came out together. She married my dad Vincent Servello a year later... He passed away 7/7/07. The love was instant and lasted the 60 years together. They resided in Elmsford, NY until dad found property in Hawthorne in 1956 and built their beautiful house. She was a home maker, she cherished and loved her four children.. Survived by James Servello of Carmel NY, Debra Coccaro of Mahopac, NY, Joan Servello of Danbury CT and Barbara Knoeppel of Maui, HI.

Also her 8 grandchildren, (Christine Servello, Gregory, an James Coccaro, Sam, Vaughn and Liam Knoeppel, Jimmy and Eric Servello. Also survived by four great Grandchildren, Evan, Eva Grace, Gianna and Chloe.

She was living in the Maplewood of Danbury for a year when she was taken by cancer... We love you forever mom.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hospice group. Wonderful people who let her die in dignity and peace. She never had to suffer. Regional Hospice of Danbury, 30 milestone Rd Danbury, CT 06810.
