NANCY GREEN Obituary
NANCY JANE GREEN
Nancy Jane was born in Topeka, Kansas on Valentine's Day 1925. While visiting her aunt in Vanderbilt, TX, she met her future husband A.C. Green. They were married in Inez, TX on September 14, 1940. They were married almost sixty-nine years when A.C. was killed in a car wreck in February, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse James and Collette Coughlin Williams, her sister, Margaret Collette Williams, husband, A.C. Green and grandson, Sgt. Anthony Gabriel Green.
She is survived by her three sons, Terry, Cornell and wife Patricia, Pat Green and wife Lindy, she has fourteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
There will be a rosary Thursday October 18, 2012 at 10:30 am with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Reverend Michael Petering will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Edna.
Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. 361-782-2221.

From what little time I had with Grandma Green I knew she was a kind and radiant person. I know she's sending that radiance upon the rest of the Greens now, and I hope this helps as you grieve...much love and aloha from across the Pacific...

Dear Teri, Cornell, Pat & family,
Mrs. Green was a most wonderful & beautiful lady who laughed a lot, told jokes,loved her Romantic Novels and bowling. I loved her dearly and now she has joined Mr. Green...I wish I could be there to help celebrate her life...
Our deepest sympathy to all the family as I know she will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are w/her and family.

Cornell and family, my prayers go out to you and family. I knew Nancy from the bowling centers she bowled at. She was always kind to me and my family and I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone.
