December 25, 1920 – March 30, 2014
Our father passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Sunday, March 30, 2014 after a long and fulfilling life. He will be missed by many, as he was an angel and a gift to all. Also a WWII Veteran, a proud Metis Elder and a successful member of AA for 56 years. He leaves behind three children Sandra (Chuck), Wendy (Clayton) and Michael. five Grandchildren; Cheri, Brad, Tawnya, Stephanie and Karl also nine Great Grandchildren, two sisters, Sister Rose Marie Poitras and Irene Grenier many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. On Thursday, April 10th, a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. from St. Matthews Parish, 16079, 88th. Ave., Surrey. Viewing will be at the church between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660, 72nd. Ave. Surrey followed by a Celebration of Life at the Valley View Chapel at 12:15 p.m. To sign the book of condolences please visit www.valleyviewsurrey.com

The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, your always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Heartfelt sorrow to the children grandchildren and the rest of the extended family. I am proud to call him Uncle Noel who was a teacher friend and the kindest man I have had the pleasure to know. He taught me many many things about my family history. Thank you and may you rest in peace.
