Norman Harper

HARPER, Mr. Norman I., 62, of Henrico, Va., passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Mr. Harper was owner and operator of Harper Appliances in Henrico County, retired from the City of Richmond Waste Water Treatment Plant, a graduate from Hermitage High School, also a graduate from the National Radio Institute, with high honors in servicing electrical appliances. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Harper; sons, Steven his wife, Kelley, Jesse and his wife, Jamie; brother, Marvin Harper, his wife, Gail; sisters, Kathy and husband, Wayne Benton, Tina Dishman, Cheryl Street; sister-in-law, Penny Harper; six grandchildren, Jestin, Josuha, Mikey, Savannah, Kyler, Jessica; and one great-grandchild, Hayden; also a good friend, Jim Williams. A service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. Interment will be private.
