Funeral services for Otto Gregory Crona, Jr., 84, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aubrey Knox officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston. Mr. Crona was born November 18, 1930 in Houston, Texas to the late Nellie Lucinda (Taylor) and Otto Gregory Crona, Sr., and died Thursday, June 18, 2015 in Lufkin. Mr. Crona had resided in Lufkin since 1987. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Texas Metal Casting following 22 years of service as a project engineer. He was a Mason with the Lufkin Masonic Lodge #669, A.F. & A.M., and a member of the Sons of The Republic of Texas. Mr. Crona was an avid photographer. He was a member of Lufkin's First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anita Crona of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lynn and Anthony Arabie of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Allen Crona, Mark Edward and Tiffany Crona, and Robert Glen and Deana Crona, all of Houston; granddaughter and husband, Kayla Ann and Zack Maxey of Longview; grandsons, Andrew Ryan Arabie of Lufkin, Kristian Taylor Crona, Ryan Taylor Crona, Kyle Thomas Crona and Travis William Crona, all of Houston; and sister-in-law, Linda Satterwhite of Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Zack Maxey, Andrew Ryan Arabie, Kristian Taylor Crona, Ryan Taylor Crona, Kyle Thomas Crona and Travis William Crona. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Monday morning prior to the services.
