Pat was one of the most amazing teachers I had the privilege to work with. She had a huge heart and always gave 200% in everything she did. She was a truly amazing woman and will be missed greatly.

My sincere condolences to family of Pat. She was such a great partner in so many ways; especially with Local Mission Partners of the St. Paul Area Synod where she encouraged more involvement with youth. I will miss her as we think about organizing another Christ the King Block Party, our wonderful event, bringing together people of all cultures and traditions. I believe she was a spark plug in every project she took on, including Rotary.

Pat was a highly invested and effective member of the New Brighton/ Mounds View Rotary Club. Her warm personality, affection, and always interesting conversation was prized by us all. We only lament that Chuck and Pat were forced through six months of horrendous struggle with cancer, and pray for Chuck's healing and adjustment to this painful loss.

To the Blake family,
I was a colleague of Pat in the special education department at Sandburg Middle School. She worked extremely hard on behalf of the students, the parents, and the taxpayers and supported the rest of the staff. In fact, if I am lucky enough to make it to the pearly gates, I'm pretty sure that Pat Blake will be standing there to check and see if I have achieved my objectives. We were able to sing together one last time at the All Saints Day Concert at Christ the King in 2009. I will always remember that voice and that smile! Pat was indeed a one of a kind person. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.

Pat inspired me! She was the most devoted teacher I know. She tirelessly gave herself to her kids. It was common for Pat to be at school late into the night. No one deserved a wonderful retirement like Pat. Her attitude was always positive. She gave and gave and gave. I will miss her terribly.
My best to her family, Cynthia Abdulla

Pat was a strong vital woman who inspired us to be the best person possible. I loved to discuss books, and life in general, with Pat. she always had an interesting perspective. I can't believe she's gone and I will miss her very much. Our best to Chuck and the family. Connie Langager
