It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Paul on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Paul was proud to be a member of the choir, board, committees, and fundraisers with Glen View United Church and Simonds Lions Club in Saint John, NB, First United Church in Mount Pearl, NL, Bedford United Church in Bedford, NS, and Deer Park United Church in Calgary, AB. He was also a lifetime member of ARCA. Paul was a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs and WWE fan and enjoyed traveling/cruising, golfing, and walking, but above all, Paul's grandchildren were his greatest joy. Paul is dearly loved by his wife, Jackie; his children, Krista Hopper (Chuck), Michael Hamilton (Leanne), Heather Hamilton, Paula Hamilton, and Lisa Hamilton; and his grandchildren, Jessie, Jaida, Lauren, Avery, Lincoln, Presley, and Lennon. He is also survived by his brothers, John and Glen; and sisters, Diane Leblanc and Wanda Roelke. Paul was predeceased by his daughter, Heather Hamilton and infant grandson, Luke Michael Hamilton; and his sisters Linda Richard, Betty Hamilton and Gail Savoie. To his cherished grandchildren "here we go, walking in the snow." A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Dear friend,
you will be greatly missed. You will never know the extent of the impact you have had on my life. You have always looked after me very well and taught me much. Thank you for being such a wonderful Man in my life and so many others too.
