Paul Morris Myers was born on April 26, 1944 in Springfield, MO and passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Orange, California surrounded by loved ones on March 19, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Isabelle Myers; son, Jeff Myers (Nancy); daughters, Stephanie Heidrich (Garett) and Gina Campbell (Douglas); grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jacob, Hannah, Wyatt and Justin; brother, Richard Myers (Edna); sister, Barbara Duncan; and, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harland and Stella Myers, and brother, Henry Myers.
Paul was a loving husband, devoted father and world’s best Papa. He met Izzi when he was in 8th grade; they fell in love and married December 16, 1961 in Denver, CO. In 1966 they moved to Anaheim, CA, and in 1970 moved to Orange, CA where he lived for the rest of his life. Paul was a professional truck driver for ICX until 1981, and then continued driving for Farmer Brothers Coffee until he retired in 2009. Paul was an active Teamsters member and acted as steward for many years. His love for the road was evident after retirement when Paul and Izzi hit the road as much as they could in their motor home. Paul enjoyed going to car shows, the grandchildren’s sporting, musical and dance recitals and loved eating at Ricardo's Mexican Restaurant in Orange, CA. They attended a Baptist church in Orange for many years where they grew their faith and raised their children in a Christian home. Paul was a great example for his children, teaching them to fear God and love one another. He was a gentle man, faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, and trusted friend to many.
We will be celebrating Paul's life on Monday 4/3/2017 @ 2:30 at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 Fairhaven Ave., Santa Ana, CA 92705. A reception will follow the service at Calvary Chapel Old Towne, 221 N. Waverly St., Orange, CA 92866

Paul Myers brought a welcome Ray of Sunshine to all of us when he began working at Farmer Bros Coffee. Right away, with his confident and caring way, he solved a troubling issue for me which affected my future. He was never to busy to help someone. God used Paul to Bless many people. Patti and I miss you, Paul.
Love, Ronald and Patricia Henthorn
