Peggy Hampton Obituary
A gathering to celebrate the wonderful life of Peggy Hampton will be held in the Ferny Creek Reserve Hall, corner of Clarkmont and Hilton Roads, Sassafras on THURSDAY (May 9, 2019) commencing at 1.00pm.
You are invited to bring a memory, a story or a reflection about Peg which you may wish to share.
Refreshments will be served during the afternoon but please no flowers by request.

I too apologise for such a late word on Peg. What an incredible person. I took singing lessons with Peg as a teen in the mid 1980's. Her approach to the poetry of music and her passion has stayed with me and influenced my creative practice. Peg taught me to think, listen and intuit deeply. I am forever grateful for her influence, passion and vision. ❤

Sorry for this Late Memory. To Rod & Paul & Families. Our Family have such fond memories of Peg and Paul. The fantastic Music lessons from Peg and the long afternoons of Chess with a Paul. Mum (Joy) & Dad (Russell) are still living happily on their property in the Basin. So sorry to hear of your Mums passing. She got me started with my singing and I now sing for my living and have done for many years. Love to you from The Manie Family. Cheers Benn

This is a bit late. Peg was a wonderful singing teacher. As a troubled teenager with a terrible voice. I loved going to her music classes. I'll always remember Peg as a very important person in making me the woman I am.

Condolences to Rod, Paul and families. A wonderful friend to my parents John and Rieka who had a strong common interest in music, social interaction and friendship. A lovely lady who encouraged the younger generation (like me) to embellish music and although time and distance has diminished personal contact, Peg has not been forgotten. I'm afraid that I'm unable to attend the funeral service in Ferny Creek.
