Ralph and I worked together for quite a few years in HPD Auto Theft Division. Ralph was always kind and courteous and a terrific person. Ralph was always willing to help someone else or to offer advice. I became a better person and detective for knowing, working with and learning from Ralph. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Thoughts and Prayers

November 29, 2017

I was privileged to know Ralph when I was in Patrol at North Shepherd Substation and on and off through my thirty years with HPD. There was no finer person or more professional Police Sergeant, I always admired Ralph and sought to live up to his example. Lt. Ret. W H "Bill" Lawrence.

A life treasured by many and loved by his family and Savior. He will be missed but never forgotten, a loss for us and gain in Heaven. My heart goes out to all of you, Doris, Donna, Rhonda and Ralph Jr, you carried the burden in his end of life and served him well. He would be so proud of you all. Love you all so much. May God embrace you and comfort the void you and your families feel now and in the days to come.
