Renee Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 9, 2013.
Renee Ann Williams was born on April 19th, 1971 in Jamaica British West Indies to the parents of Jack and Lilieth Williams. While in Jamaica, she attended St. Georges Elementary School. With her younger brother Jack, the family of four migrated to the United States of America in 1980.

The family made Houston, Texas their home where she attended Petrosky Elemetary School and later Albright Middle School. She graduated from Alief Elsik High School and went to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. There she graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science.

Her original goal was to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or a Medical doctor but after passing the MCAT examination, she got accepted in a DO program in Dallas, Texas and had a change of heart.

Encouraged by her Dallas parents Mike (Pops) and Beth Garcia, she was directed to pursue computer consulting and she did her Master's in Computer Science at the Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas and since then she has worked in this field and her last employer was Texas Health Resources.
She passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.

I am at a loss for words. We lived down the street from Renee' in the 1980s. My brother, Benn and I used to play with Jack and Renee' quite a bit. I can't believe this. My heart, prayers and support go out to you all! Xxxx

We are sadden to hear of the loss of a beautiful person. She was so kind & loving. Like a peace lily, so full & stately. She always had that beautiful smile on her face. She was a very special person.
Our prayers are for God to
comfort us & give all of us peace During the days to come.

I'm so sad. Renee was my friend. She was the only friend I had who I wanted with me and was with me on a miserable day in my life. She will always be in my heart.

I am still completely numb...you have been one of my best friends since high school and I can't believe you are gone. I was reading some of the letters you wrote to me in college and I just laughed of how corny we were. I will miss you deeply

Her smile. Her smile and the poise and grace that she had. This is what I first think of when remembering Renee. The loss of someone so smart, beautiful and young tends to make us all question our own place in the world.
I am the Lab IS Coordinator of Texas Health Arlington Memorial and would sometime work with Renee on projects or issues. Our relationship was purely professional, but her warmth and caring was evident in everything that she did.
I want you, her family, to know how far-reaching her influence was and how her loss has affected people who only occasionally worked with her.
