I knew Dick from the Kitchen resturant on 18th street. He was a very funny guy, he always made me laugh, and never seemed to be too busy to talk with me.
My blessings go out to all his family and the many, many friends that he had.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Dick. He was a dear friend of my dad's (Forest McCowen). I saw Dick a couple of years ago when I came to the falls to visit. It was a joy to see him and talk about the old times. My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you.

Just thinking about you makes me happy. "How ya doin cuz" will no longer be heard. Out of sight, out of mind-not a chance. How lucky I was to have a cousin to lean on, laugh with, and call my friend.

What a blessing to have such a treasure in our family. I will never forget the great times we had together at Long Beach and family gatherings. Uncle Dick was a great man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved by everyone and will be missed. My sympathy's to his children, and also to my mom and Aurelanne, who cherrished him.

I have known Dick since North Junior High School, over 70 years ago. I have not seen him in several years, but if you knew Dick you didn't forget him. He was a good man and a good friend. There is more laughter in heaven today because Dick has arrived.
